Payback Time!

All this time Caitlin has been the more mobile of the two and has used this to her advantage. She has crawled on top of Connor, taking toys away from him, and just in general, just bugging him. Well the time has come for payback. Connor has started Army crawling and is paying her back!
Ah, it's good to be bigger and stronger!

What is This?

The doctor thought that maybe this was a great time to start introducing Connor and Caitlin to table food.
Yea, it may take a few days!
So we went in for our nine month baby check up. My kids are big and tall with smallish heads. Connor is 29.5 inches tall and tips the scales at a measly 24lbs 6.5 oz.
Caitlin is no light weight at 29 inches tall and weighs in at 21lbs 9.5 oz. She is tall for her age. Connor is just my future football player!!

9 Months and Crawling!

Connor and Caitlin will be 9 months old tomorrow. The time has flown by. Connor has started dragging himself (close enough to crawling I guess) and Caitlin is a little terror, she is everywhere. She is starting to understand the word NO! She tries to smile and grab my glasses. What else is new? Connor likes to play peek a boo, and Caitlin claps, especially when she sees food.
Neither one of the kids like the baby gate, but Kaiser does. Connor is up to 4 teeth, while Caitlin's 2nd tooth just broke through.
Caitlin now has enough hair for little tiny hair barrettes.
We want to give a shout out to Katelee Nelson, she is 10 months old today! We can't wait to meet you and to play with you. We'd have so much fun!!

Bertha Bleu (B.B. for Short)

So let me introduce you to Bertha Bleu. It's my mini van. I can't believe that I am driving a mini van. But the things we do for our family. When we brought Connor and Caitlin home from the hospital, we realized that it was an extremely tight fit in the Accord. The double stroller took the entire trunk, and the car seats took the entire back seat. So after fighting the car doors at the pediatrician's office, we brought home Bertha. Now, you can't get the keys out of my hands.

And of course it was naked without a Utah Utes License Plate Frame! We bought the blue one, if any of you have ever been in Georgia during Feburary, March, April and into May, you understand, the pollen turns everything flouresent green. The light blue is easier to keep clean.

Rascally Rabbit!

I have tried growing things in my yard, but the plants are being eaten. This is one of the many rabbits that we share our yard with. He and his family are the reasons my little vegetable garden is planted in planters on my deck. Him and the deer! So far we have had rabbits, deer and a fox come through. Thank goodness the black bears are staying a few neighborhoods to the north and west of us. Here are a couple pictures of my tomato plants. Apparently they like Miracle Gro Moisture Control soil. I was really late getting them planted, and they exploded! The watermelon plant is taking over my deck!

Whales Sharks, Beluga Whales Oh My!

The Georgia Aquarium is awesome! Late next year, the new Dolphin exhibit will be open, I can't wait! My favorite part of the aquarium is the Beluga Whales. Watching them float and swim around is probably the most relaxing thing ever! We were there during nap time, and I thought Connor and Caitlin would go to sleep. Boy was I wrong. They loved looking at all of the big fish! They really enjoyed themselves!
