Kaiser is the world's most awesome dog! He is tolerating the kids better now, especially when they are in their high chairs - that usually means there is food somewhere.

Getting Ready for the Big 1!!!

We decided to make a huge play room in the basement for the kids for their first birthday (gasp!!).
I guess we are going to start painting this weekend. The room is awfully beige! So I thought I'd start with some before
pictures. Please feel free to offer suggestions.....



So far, we have installed this really cool ceiling fan we found at Home Depot. I hope it encourages them to dream of the stars. Maybe one will be an Astronaut!

We're Ready for Some Football!

Aunt Heather sent Connor and Caitlin some new game day gear for their birthday! We will be wearing RED Sept. 3!!!!!!! Once the kids are able to talk, I will teach them the lyrics to Utah Man. Right now, they laugh and clap when we reach the end! GO UTES!!!!

Hairdo's and Sing Alongs

Caitlin's hair is finally long and wild enough to pull into a ponytail of sorts! Yeah! It has been getting into her eyes, so yesterday at the store I bought her some different barrettes.
We were listening to The Wheels on the Bus (which happens to be their favorite song right now) and I swear Connor was singing along.
Also here pictures of Caitlin trying out her teeth. This got them separated real quick!

10 Months!

Apparently, taking the binki out of Connor's mouth is funny. Or atleast he thinks so, usually when Caitlin takes the binki out of Connor's mouth, he starts screaming! By the way, that is a cheerio stuck to her chest that when I tried to get it off of her, she started screaming! So I left it until it was time to change her diaper.
So Caitlin and Connor are 10 months old today. It feels like just yesterday we were bringing them home from the hospital. Now the dog is nowhere to be seen, he has a hiding place he disappears too every morning and only comes out when food is involved or he needs to go outside. Connor has 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on the bottom) to Caitlin's 2 (bottom's only on her). Both are trying to walk now (HELP!!!!) They like to race each other around the kitchen, chasing plastic souvenir cups. Both kids love yogurt.
I feel like I have amazon children, Connor is 24lbs, and Caitlin is 21lbs. Apparently we haven't found anything they don't like to eat. I hope they are going to be tall, they are already 30 inches tall. My dream is to one day have Connor get things out of the cupboards for me without a chair! And to change the light bulbs!

WEEEEEEE!!!!!

They love the swing!!!! We went to the playground today and played on the swings for 45 minutes. They were mad when they had to leave, mom was melting!!!

Self Portraits

We tried to do the whole self portrait thing, it didn't work out as well as Aunt Sara's. Oh well, I tried. They didn't turn out too bad, considering Caitlin never holds still, and Connor really doesn't like his picture taken.














Whenever the camera comes out, Caitlin strikes a pose, and plasters on a smile. Connor, well, he points his finger. He likes to touch everything with his pointing finger. Why??? Because he can. Looking at this picture, can you tell she was eating Cheerios, Strawberries and bananas? She wears her food. Messy girl!
