This past week, we journeyed down I75 to Atlanta. Man, I guess after not being there for a year, you tend to forget the heat and humidity. but I enjoyed it!
We stopped in Lexington Kentucky on our way down, Jayson had a work thing he had to attend. While he was working, me and the midgets hung out at Explorium, a children's museum. It was great, the kids had a great time.
Here Connor is playing virtual soccer with another little boy that was there. He had so much fun.
If you look closely, you will notice that Caitlin is writing with her left hand. I know it is still too early to tell, but she is using her left hand a lot to color, draw and write.
Playing doctor, because someone has to help mom out when she retires!
Finger painting with glitter glue! Yeah, it wasn't messy at all! I mean, a week later and we are still finding glitter glue in their ears!
So while we were in Atlanta, we were able to attend the Keever Family Reunion. The kids were able to meet and play with cousins their own age.
This is Connor, Caitlin, Addie and Charlie. All having fun with Uncle Jeff pushing them on the swing.
We also went for a boat ride on Lake Lanier.
Highlight of the trip for Caitlin was being able to pee in the lake. Oh, the simple things.
They love trying to touch the waves the boat makes.
Making silly faces.
Uncle Jeff making a sandcastle with Caitlin.
Sunset over the lake.
Caitlin loves going fast!
Connor decided going fast was awesome!
Because all Caitlin has talked about was going to the Georgia Aquarium, so we took Uncle Jeff with us. He had never been there, and I think he had an enjoyable time.
Uncle Jeff and Caitlin touching something
Here they are watching the Beluga Wales. If you are not careful, you could fall asleep watching them swim, it is that relaxing and peaceful.
A picture in front of the Coral Wall.
Eskimo Kisses for Uncle Bryan
We miss everyone and had a great visit! Next big trip is to Salt Lake in the fall!
