Just in Time!

We lowered Connor and Caitlin's beds on Saturday. Just in time, she decided she has to stand up now. I went upstairs to get them out of their cribs this morning and this is what I saw:

Connor isn't pulling himself up to stand yet, but he is trying really hard to get up on his little hands and feet, like he is getting ready to race someone! Here is a picture of him this morning:

It's Monkey See, Monkey Do here! They are s silly, they make me laugh all the time!

Splish Splash!

I swear my kids are ducks! They both love taking baths! They have outgrown their bath tub, but aren't quit big enough to sit on their own in the tub upstairs, so they take baths in the kitchen sink for now. As you can see, they love it! Caitlin loves putting her face in the bubbles (weird girl!) Connor just loves splashing and getting water everywhere!

Technology

Computers! How did we ever live without them? I love that I can talk to people in California and Nevada without having to call, you just never know when a good time is- time zone differences and screaming kids and all that. Web cams allow you to watch kids grow up while living in another state. But sometimes, I miss just talking to someone on the phone. But with everyone at least 2 hours behind us, it makes conversation a little difficult. I love reading comments left behind, it makes me feel like you are right here with me, enjoying the screaming and all the little things Connor and Caitlin are learning. Like today, I placed Caitlin and Connor on their play matts on the floor to play while I mixed their lunch. Next thing I know, Caitlin has pulled herself up, and is sitting there chewing on the bar of her matt, and Connor is a good 3 feet away from his. Amazing considering he hasn't shown the least bit of interest in learning how to crawl!

More Pictures from Utah

Here are some more pictures from Utah. I think we wore Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Blackburn out! My mom took some pictures of them with their Great Grandpa Montoya. She'll have to send them to me, I forgot to take my camera with me. Aunt Janet took some pictures of Connor and Caitlin with their Aunt Sara, I will have to ask her nicely to send me copies, I missed that.

We took this picture of Connor watching Brady play baseball. I think he really enjoyed that!

Here is a picture of my dad with all of his Grandkids.

Rambling from Home

Flying with the kids wasn't as bad as I was expecting. On the flight out to Utah, Connor slept most of the way out there, and when he was awake, he was flirting with the lady sitting next to him. Caitlin slept a whole 40 minutes on the plane. She smiled and tried to play with the nice gentleman that was sitting next to us. We were able to visit wit a lot of friends we hadn't seen in a long time. It was a lot of fun. Connor and Caitlin were able to meet family they hadn't meet before. It was a great time! Caitlin's new favorite person is her big cousin Ali!

Ali and Brady were a big help!

We had a picnic at BJ and Tia's house, went to a restaurant with Ken, Heather, Jake and Kallee.

My dad marks everyone's height on a wall. We stood Connor and Caitlin up to get their mark.hey enjoyed meeting their Grandpa Gene!

Going through Pictures

I was looking through all the pictures that hav been taken of Connor and Caitlin last night. I thought I'd share some.
Jayson calls this Caitlin's cheerleader pose.

This is her version of Blue Steel (the movie Zoolander is hilarious!) She will just pose and hope you have the camera close by!

What can I say about this guy? I think he is so adorable!

Here they are playing on the floor this morning.

Here they are just relaxing together. Connor's smile does make you think he is up to something no good.

May Day!

Play time on the floor. They love it! You build a pyramid and they love to knock it down! Caitlin is almost crawling. She will get on her hands and knees and start to rock. She seems to go backwards! Connor is trying to pull his knees up under him. He is moving forward though! Kaiser, you may want to find a good hiding spot now! We are getting ready for our trip back to Utah. It will be their first plane ride. I just hope it all goes well and they sleep. I do not want to deal with a screaming baby for 4 hours on a plane.

Here they are wrestling in the arm chair, which will stop soon, they are getting to big to continue.
