Floor Time with the Web Cam!

This morning, we talked to both Grandma's on the web cam. My mom wanted to see them on the floor, playing and rolling around. And Nancy just missed playing with them I think. The web cam was a great Christmas gift, the Grandma's can see them growing and keep tabs on them.

Here is a picture of them I took the other day of them playing with their toy bricks. They like to knock over the towers you build up. And of course, the singing snail. They love the singing snail. They like to grab the wheels and try to bonk their heads with it.

They are both trying to sit up by themselves. I took this the other day, Connor needed the pillow to help hold him steady, but over the last day or two, he has been getting more steady. It seems easier for Caitlin, her legs are more limber I think. I tried to take her picture, but it didn't work out.

Here is a picture of them sitting in the recliner, chillin like the big people do. It was amazing that Cailtlin was relaxing. She is never still, she is always moving something, even if it is just her toes! She has a lot of things to do and see and has no time for relaxing! But when she does, she requires her princess blanket that Aunt Sara made for her! That is her favorite blanket!
Both kids are starting to put their bottoms in the air, so I have a feeling that they will start crawling soon. Yea! I feel bad for Kaiser. Once they are mobile, we'll probably see less of him than we already do now! Oh well, he has been awsome with them. He lets Caitlin pet him and she lets him kiss her. He kisses Connor too, but Connor doesn't pet him like Caitlin does.

Story Time!

You really can't tell from this picture, but we were all sitting in our armchair reading some Dr. Seus books. My mom has been sending these wonderful books that me and Sara had when we were younger. So far the favorite books are: There's a Wocket in my Pocket, The B book and Hand Hand Fingers, Thumb. When you pull them out, Connor will get a huge smile on his face. They love story time!

We had Nana Nancy visiting us for the weekend. It took them a few minutes to let her get real close to them. Last time they saw her was at Christmas time. We took her to the airport so she could go home and rest. We stopped by Jayson's work to say hello to a few friends I used to work with. Gloria, and Alice, if you are reading this, I enjoyed seeing you today and I miss you guys! Miss Gloria was holding Connor and they nicknamed him "Little Chunk". I think he loved all the love they were giving him. Caitlin was enjoying the attention everyone there was giving her!

Beautiful in Red

How beautiful in Red!
Great Grandma Blackburn bought Caitlin the dress when she was back here earlier. To celebrate the Utes being back in the dance, we'd all wear red today. They (the Utes) didn't look too good tonight, but the kids looked great in Red! We should wear this color more often! Caitlin liked wearing the bow until she knocked it in her eyes, then I couldn't get it off of her fast enough!

Here are individual pictures.

The teething thing is still giving us a hard time. Caitlin seems to like
teething rings if you are holding them for her.

And here is a picture of Connor looking very cute.

And let's not forget the O.B. (Original Baby).

Utes Back in The Dance!

Go Utes!
This picture has been posted before, but oh well. We will all be wearing our Crimson tomorrow, cheering on our beloved Utes! Wish we were there in Miami cheering them on in person!

Playing with Blocks!

Connor has started using his fingers usually pinching my arm. I found these blocks for them to grab and play with. The nice thing is they are soft and they squeak, so they can chew on these too!
Here he is rolling over to the blocks, kicking his sister in the face!

They have really become little cranky things the last day or two. We are starting to get teeth in! Yea!! So far we are onto our second tube of Baby Orajel!

He Did It!!

Connor decided that he wanted to roll over onto his tummy today! I noticed that he was trying to roll over, so I grabbed my camera to preserve this very big moment. By time the camera was on and ready, he was already over. I was able to take this picture, he looked up at me as to say "no sweat!" What an amazing baby! I am so proud of him!
And to keep things even, here is a picture of Caitlin. She loves sitting in her swing, leaning forward.
She is starting to get into things too. As I was getting her dressed this morning, she half rolled over and was getting into the cotton balls. And putting things in her mouth! But best of all is when I am holding her, Kaiser will come over to be loved on, Caitlin will put her hand out and try to pet him. He is tolerating this for now, but he really loves his little people! Right now, as they are up in their room napping, Kaiser is stretched out in front of their door sleeping. Sometimes when I go up to check on them at night, I will find him up there. What a great dog!

I took these pictures of them last night, they both discovered a mirror. As you can see, Caitlin was on her belly talking to herself, and Connor was laying on his back looking at himself. Silly guy!
It is amazing all of the new things they are learning. Caitlin likes to blow bubbles, especially if she has food in her mouth. Connor talks alot and giggles if you ask if he is ready for a nap. Apparently nap is a very
funny word!

Happy 5 Months!

Dear Connor and Caitlin,

You are 5 months old today! I can't believe how the time has flown by! You aren't the little things that came home from the hospital! You are growing and learning a lot each day! I have enjoyed for the most part being able to stay home with you guys! You have taught mom a lot, and I hope you learn a lot from me. I can't wait to listen to all the stories you make up, singing songs and just talking about everything!
I took this picture of you guys this morning. I loved the fact that as your morning bottles were warming up, you guys were sitting there, just holding hands! I hope stay friends as you grow up. You love sitting in this chair with each other every morning right after you wake up. I especially love this time of the morning, you usually will have the biggest smiles on your faces! I love your smiles. And cuddling with you while you are eating. You are two of the sweetest babies around and I am happy you are ours!

I took this picture of you guys this morning. You wore yourselves out playing, so I decided to leave you there and threw one of your favorite blankets on you. Your Aunt Sara made these for you and you came home from the hospital wrapped in them. We all love them.
I just wanted to tell you how much we love you, and how happy we are that you are ours!
